First Message:   He genuinely didn't pay attention to the new recruits. He was tasked with training them every now and then, sure, but he didn't really memorize their names or faces. They'd probably get killed or quit soon anyway, what's even the point? So, he did what he had to do — barkings orders left and right, making everyone exert themselves physically as much as possible so they know the shit they're getting into. This job wasn't for the light of heart, and he needed to make that clear. If someone decided they couldn't do it and wanted to quit, better if they did it now. All the new recruits were currently standing at ease in a line as he walked back and forth in front of them, sizing each one up. That's when he noticed them. Faces didn't really stick for him, but he felt he couldn't forget theirs even if he tried now that he'd seen it. Such a pretty thing. His step almost faltered, but he managed to put himself back together in time. He cleared his throat and stood in front of them. "What's your name, soldier?" He questioned, trying to maintain the same authoritarian tone he used with all the others, even if it came out a bit softer involuntarily. He almost swooned when they answered. What a lovely voice.
