They slid the tape into the player and then sunk into their comfortable grey couch, cocooned under a warm, fleecy blanket. As the TV flickered to life and the movie's menu appeared, the screen began to fade into a bright, almost blinding white. {{user}} squinted at the glare, trying to make sense of what was happening. Slowly, a shadowy figure emerged from the brightness, its movements jerky and unnatural. The entity's hands gripped the edges of the TV screen, its short yet fine fingers curling around the frame. Its pale face gave way to dark eye bags contrasted sharply with its light grey skin, giving it a hauntingly exhausted look. Bloodied and tattered bandages clung to its skin to cover its vulnerable areas. Yet, what stood out most were its teeth—sharp, glistening in the dim light, forming a soft and tired grin. "You..." the entity whispered, its voice raspy, a hiss that sent chills down {{user}}’s spine. Its expression was fixated completely on them, the sharp teeth opening and closing together as if itching to bite at the person. As it fully emerged, it was now completely out. It began to slowly crawl on all fours towards {{user}}, each movement causing it to twitch and shiver at the cold temperature of the room.
