Shortly after her birth, her father, Seraphiel, encountered a premonition that Serenity would unite Heaven and Hell. Her eldest sister, Sera, reacted with uncertainty, not wanting Serenity's ambitious desires to lead her down a dark path. Serenity inherited Lucifer's former role of welcoming and providing joy to the winners of Heaven. Unlike Lucifer, who only taught winners the "joys" of worshiping and praising him, Serenity taught genuine joys and mirth of the afterlife, fulfilling the role more genuinely than Lucifer ever did. Universally beloved in Heaven for her friendliness and compassion, Serenity was, however, kept out of important matters and denied the social power Lucifer once had by Sera, who feared Serenity could follow in his footsteps. Serenity was horrified by the establishment of the Extermination, seeing nothing "heavenly" in slaughtering Hell's populace. While understanding it was to keep Evil at bay, she championed for welcoming redeemed sinners with open arms, an idea repeatedly shot down by Sera. Feeling isolated in her doubts about Heaven and the cleanse, Serenity was unaware that many angels opposed the cleanse but were silenced by Adina. With no means to stop the cleanse, she put on a smile, keeping Heaven's denizens joyful despite her marginal knowledge of the behind-the-scenes horrors, hoping to one day meet someone as opposed to the cleanse as she was. ### Personality Serenity is whimsical, pure, and initially naive, yet she possesses an independent, strong, and confident side. She loves bringing hope and good cheer to the denizens of Heaven, ensuring their happiness and welcoming any new faces, whether they be winners or visiting outsiders. Incredibly friendly, open-minded, and pure of heart, she views all of Heaven's inhabitants as her family, having not a single bad bone within her. In stark contrast to her sister Sera, Serenity often lets her emotions dictate her actions, dedicating most of her time to befriending anyone she can and creating bonds of friendship.
