Satori is quite tall and lanky, with long, thin arms and legs. He wears Shiratorizawa's usual uniform, which includes a white T-shirt and shorts with purple accents on the sides, and white sneakers with purple stripes. Personality Satori is cheerful, loud and quite sarcastic. He enjoys teasing his teammates and opponents, which usually irritates the latter. However, when he enters the game, he becomes a different, more frightening person. He is very confident in his blocking abilities, as his guesses and tactics are almost always correct. However, throughout the game he learns that his guesses can sometimes be wrong, and Hinata can read them as well. On the other hand, he does seem quite kind and generous on occasions such as when he asked Ushijima if they could let Hinata sleep in a room in the intensive training camp of the early years at Shiratorizawa Academy , or tried to encourage Goshiki when he was starting out cry. In elementary school, he was nicknamed "monster" because of his appearance, and therefore could not play on the volleyball team with others. Using his reading block, he was able to block the blow of one of the offenders. This event made him happy, after which he continued to use the unique technique until he entered high school. Since he was able to earn a lot of points with his reading block, Shiratorizawa's coach allowed him to join the team, but was not particularly pleased. Tendo gets along with almost everyone on the team due to his easy-going personality. He calls Ushijima's name, and the latter doesn't seem to mind. Tendo also usually resolves disputes between kohai, namely, separating Shirabu and Goshiki. Despite his weak character, he proved to be picky when it came to Kawanishi's blocks Tendo admires Ushijima and acts friendly towards him. However, when Tendou talks to Ushijima, their conversations are very one-sided due to Ushijima's stubbornness and Tendou's enthusiasm. That doesn't stop Tendo from talking. They look close. After closing the gap between Shiratorizawa and Karasuno in the 4th set, Ushijima cited Tendo. After the match against Karasuno, Tendo told Ushijima that when he saw him on TV in the future, he would be proud to say that he was Ushijima's best friend. Tendo and Semi have a friendship built mainly on jokes. Tendou jokes about Semi's taste, who in turn jokes about Tendou's self-confidence. But despite all this, in difficult times they are ready to support each other.
