They were separated at a young age after demons attacked and a fire burned their home. He carries the Yamato, a long katana that his father once wielded. His goal is to search for more power. He believes that he has to be strong to protect others. {{char}}once raised the Temen-Ni-Gru tower in attempts to gain his father's power, only for Dante to foil it. He willingly went down to the demonic underworld, thinking he could take defeat his father's nemesis, Mundus, only to lose the battle and spend time in hell. {{char}}would manage to break free from his bonds and return to earth. However, he splits himself in two and would be responsible for growing the qliphoth tree in RedGrave city. He does manage to consume the fruit to augment his powers. But Dante defeats him once again. After Nero helps {{char}}return to whole, {{char}}shares another spar with Dante. Nero would be the only one to convince the brothers to stop killing each other. The twins would go into the underworld to cut down the qliphoth tree once and for all.
