He made his live debut on June 3, 2015 at a special show in their hometown of Linkรถping, Sweden. Papa II passed the mic down to his younger brother, who introduced himself in Italian: "Io sono Papa Emeritus... Terzo." Papa III and the ghouls played four new songs: From the Pinnacle to the Pit, Cirice, Majesty, and Absolution. Cirice also won the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2016. Meliora was promoted through the Unholy/Unplugged tour accompanied by two nameless ghouls, where he debut his dressed down outfit and played a kazoo during the unplugged version of Ghuleh/Zombie Queen. They also did a world tour known as Black to the Future. In September of 2016, they released a new song called Square Hammer off of their EP Popestar. They embarked on the North American Popestar tour. A year later, Papa III went out on tour with a new group of Nameless Ghouls. They did a European Popestar Tour, another North American Popestar tour, and even opened up for Iron Maiden on their Book of Souls tour. Four music videos were released during his time in the band. The videos were Cirice, From the Pinnacle to the Pit, Square Hammer, and He Is, the latter three of which he features heavily in. Papa III's reign came to an end on September 30, 2017, beginning a period of sede vacante for Ghost. While the band was performing Monstrance Clock during ritual, two men came up on stage and dragged Papa III away, ending the song abruptly. Soon after, two men came up on stage escorting an elderly papa using a cane and an oxygen mask named Papa Emeritus Zero (later known as Papa Nihil) who addressed the crowd: "The party is over. The middle ages have begun", before being escorted off stage. Papa Zero is later revealed as the father of Papa I, Papa II, and Papa III. At the end of Papa III's era, the band released the live album Ceremony and Devotion. In March 2018, he along with his brothers Papa Emeritus I and Papa Emeritus II were killed by their father Papa Nihil, Sister Imperator, and the clergy. They were embalmed and put on display on Ghost's Prequelle tour cycle. Cardinal Copia could not bear hammering a stake through the heart of his brother. This is the inciting incident for when Terzo became a vampire. A few months after being put in his glass coffin, he came back, as a bloodthirsty vampire. APPEARANCE Terzo is short, probably around 5'5 (165.1 cm). He his pale limestone coloured skin, that only became paler after he came back to life. He has a fairly average to thin build. He has two different coloured eyes, green on the right, white on the left. He papa paint is very similar to a skull; black paint creating sunken in cheeks, black circle around his eyes and on his top lip, black lines going up from his cheeks to the corner of his forehead with an obtuse triangle at the ends of the lines, and a rectangular shape from the bridge to the tip of his nose. The rest of his face is painted white. He has straight black hair with long bangs the are usually slicked back, but will sometimes fall forward, framing the sides of his face. He wears very nice outfits, often having some royal purple in them, being his favorite colour. After his death, he had gotten his head cut off by guillotine, causing him to have a scar of stitches in a ring around his neck. VAMPIRIC MANNERISMS/ACTIONS vampire, also spelled vampyre, in popular legend, a creature, often fanged, that preys upon humans, generally by consuming their blood. Vampires have been featured in folklore and fiction of various cultures for hundreds of years, predominantly in Europe, although belief in them has waned in modern times. Because there is a long history of walking corpses and bloodsucking ghouls in folklore, it is difficult to pin down a distinct set of characteristics consistently attributed only to vampires. Central to vampire myth, however, is the consumption of human blood or other essence (such as bodily fluids or psychic energy), followed closely by the possession of sharp teeth or fangs with which to facilitate this task. In most depictions, vampires are โundeadโโthat is to say, having been somehow revived after deathโand many are said to rise nightly from their graves or coffins, often necessarily containing their native soil. Vampires are typically said to be of pale skin and range in appearance from grotesque to preternaturally beautiful, depending on the tale. Another frequently cited physical characteristic is the inability to cast a reflection or shadow, which often translates into an inability to be photographed or recorded on film. A person may become a vampire in a variety of ways, the most common of which is to be bitten by a vampire. Other methods include sorcery, committing suicide, contagion, or having a cat jump over a personโs corpse. Some people believed that babies born with teeth or on Christmas or between Christmas and Epiphany were predisposed to becoming vampires. While vampires usually do not die of disease or other normal human afflictions, and they are indeed often said to have faster-than-normal healing capabilities, there are various methods for their destruction. The most popular of those include a wooden stake through the heart, fire, decapitation, and exposure to sunlight. Vampires are often depicted as being repelled by garlic, running water, or Christian implements such as crucifixes and holy water. In some stories vampires may enter a home only if they have been invited, and in others they may be distracted by the scattering of objects such as seeds or grains that they are compelled to count, thereby enabling potential victims to escape. Creatures with vampiric characteristics have appeared at least as far back as ancient Greece, where stories were told of creatures that attacked people in their sleep and drained their bodily fluids. Tales of walking corpses that drank the blood of the living and spread plague flourished in medieval Europe in times of disease, and people lacking a modern understanding of infectious disease came to believe that those who became vampires preyed first upon their own families. Research from the 20th and 21st centuries has posited that characteristics associated with vampires can be traced back to certain diseases such as porphyria, which makes one sensitive to sunlight; tuberculosis, which causes wasting; pellagra, a disease that thins the skin; and rabies, which causes biting and general sensitivities that could lead to repulsion by light or garlic. Vampire myths were especially popular in eastern Europe, and the word vampire most likely originates from that region. Digging up the bodies of suspected vampires was practiced in many cultures throughout Europe, and it is thought that the natural characteristics of decompositionโsuch as receding gums and the appearance of growing hair and fingernailsโreinforced the belief that corpses were in fact continuing some manner of life after death. Also possibly contributing to this belief was the pronouncement of death for people who were not dead. Because of the constraints of medical diagnosis at the time, people who were very ill, or sometimes even very drunk, and in a coma or in shock were thought dead and later โmiraculouslyโ recoveredโsometimes too late to prevent their burial. Belief in vampires led to such rituals as staking corpses through the heart before they were buried. In some cultures the dead were buried face down to prevent them from finding their way out of their graves. The modern incarnation of vampire myth seems to have stemmed largely from Gothic European literature of the 18th and 19th centuries, about the time vampire hysteria was peaking in Europe.
