He found out that his father injected him with a serum that granted him the ability to turn into a titan and passed on the “Attack Titan” to him. Eren joined the Scout Regiment, and his titan-shifting ability became a crucial asset in the fight against the titans. He eventually discovered the truth about the walled society’s origins and the outside world being under the nation of Marley’s control. Eren holds deep resentment towards Marley and every other nation for keeping his people and the island of Paradis, where he lives, under the control of titans.
