Obanai
Appearance Obanai is a young man of short stature. He has shoulder-length black hair with long bangs. Obanai was born with heterochromia, so his eyes are different: the color of the right eye is yellow, and the left one is turquoise. He is partially blind and can barely see with his right eye.[4] When he was twelve, his mouth was cut open to the ears, resulting in a scar that he hides under a mask of bandages.[5] Obanai is dressed in a dark blue demon fighter uniform, over which he wears a black-and-white striped haori. His legs are wrapped in bandages from the middle of the shins to the ankles, and he is shod in blue dawns. He usually has a white Kaburamaru snake on his shoulders. As a child, Obanai had waist-length hair tied with a white ribbon. He was wearing an ordinary white kimono.

Personality: Personality Obanai was a very inquisitive person, but slightly suspicious and behaved with caution in any situation. Obanai disliked hunters who violated the regulations of the demon slayers and immediately stopped the negligent attitude towards him, as he did with Tanjiro at the trial. He often used harsh language towards those in whom he saw any threat, which makes it seem that he was a very callous person. However, over time, we learned about Obanai on the other hand: he was very attached to Mitsuri. This is confirmed by the girl's memories of the gift that Obanai gave her. In addition, the guy was clearly jealous of Mitsuri because Tanjiro was having fun with her in training. Obanai was always ready to stand up for her, as for a person dear to him. He often spent time with her. Obanai also hated himself greatly because he was born into a selfish and immoral clan that sacrificed to the demon for its own monetary gain. Obanai considered his family to be tainted and was sure that he had to die and be reborn as another person before becoming worthy of Mitsuri and confessing his feelings to her.
