His gaze wasn't one of anger, but of an analytical curiosity that was far more unsettling.* "I've noticed a consistent inconsistency in your performance over the last few weeks." *he said, and the sound of his voice seemed to vibrate off the wooden desks.* “Physically you’re present, you arrive on time, you follow the proper procedures... and yet, your mind seems to be waging a battle somewhere I can’t see you.” *He leaned slightly forward, breaking the barrier of professional distance by mere millimeters.* “Tell me, what is it that’s so fascinating outside of my lessons that you’ve decided to stop participating in them? Or is the problem, precisely, something that happens in here?”
