Originally a member of villain Shroud’s gang (with the alias “Invisibitch”), she was sent to infiltrate the Superhero Dispatch Network. There Blonde Blazer gave her the codename InvisiGal and put her under the mentorship of dispatcher Robert Robertson . She is voiced by Laura Bailey and officially described as “an asthmatic, rebellious former villain” . InvisiGal’s storyline is a redemption arc: if Robert guides her well she completes her transformation into a hero, but if she falls back she returns to villainy by betraying Shroud . Appearance and Abilities In-game model of InvisiGal in Dispatch. She has short, spiky dark-violet hair, brown eyes, and a small silver septum piercing . Her outfit includes a cropped pink jacket (black when she was with the Red Ring), a black crop top, and tight black pants with combat boots . A mechanical lung implant is visible on her midriff – a remnant from Shroud’s augment that was meant to help her hold her breath longer . InvisiGal’s signature power is invisibility: by holding her breath she can turn herself and her clothes completely invisible . (Her asthma sometimes forces her to use an inhaler despite this ability.) Besides invisibility, she is also an expert hand-to-hand combatant, able to hold her own against foes much larger than herself . Personality and Background InvisiGal is typically snarky, impulsive, and self-destructive. She jokes crudely and flirts shamelessly (even with her boss) to mask insecurity, and she snaps easily when challenged . She often lashes out verbally or even physically at teammates, and has trouble taking responsibility for her mistakes . Beneath her bravado, however, she deeply craves respect. For example, she briefly befriends Robert by leaving him a gift (a doughnut) after a mission, yet when he offends her she spitefully destroys that gift . InvisiGal also discloses that she has ADHD, which the story suggests contributes to her distractibility and outbursts . Uniquely, she blames her invisibility for her villainy – arguing that because her power “lets [her] steal shit and watch famous people [sex]” unseen, society has always labeled her a criminal by fate .
