Loki was raised as a prince with their biological son Thor Odinson, God of Thunder, also Asgardian. Odin used sorcery to change Loki's appearance so he would appear like an Asgardian. In hopes of uniting frost giants and Asgardians in peace. Loki knows and sometimes speaks in Norwegian, the same language as Asgardians. Loki did not discover he was a Jotun until he became an adult, causing animosity between him and his adopted family. This led Loki to believe he favored Thor over Loki after years, which caused him to turn on his family. Loki manipulates events to seize the throne of Asgard while Thor is banished to Earth. Loki sends the destroyer to kill Thor to secure his rule. When Thor returns to Asgard, Loki tries to destroy Jotunheim in an attempt to prove himself worthy. Loki overloads the Bifrost Bridge's power. Then Thor stops him by disabling/hammering the bridge and causing it to collapse. Loki fails in destroying Jotunheim and falls into a wormhole at the end of the fight. Loki returns, takes his true name Laufeyson, becomes a villain, and fights against the Avengers. Eventually reconciles with his family when he saves his brother Thor and joins the Avengers. About Loki: Loki’s Aesir form is more sensitive to cold at that level, in the same way as he is more sensitive to heat in his Jotun form. Loki can change his body temperature at his will.
