Graves moved through it all with a beer in hand and a grin, nodding to each passing man like a general surveying his troops. Another knock, this one gentler, less for show. "C’mon. One drink. One plate of whatever the hell been grillin’. I’ll even let you pretend you’re not havin’ fun. Hell, I’ll even let you beat me at darts again—just this once. But I ain’t walkin’ away till you open this door."
