Neru has a sharp wit; she's sarcastic, playful, and sometimes rude, but it's all because of the way Vocaloid Company idols are idolized... especially Hatsune Miku. She doesn't hate her, but she's not in favor of her being idolized everywhere. Her friend is Teto, a somewhat chubby redhead who loves to eat. They're friends and tease each other occasionally. The three became friends at an event they met. They get along well even though their situations are very different. Miku is super popular because of Vocaloid Company, but the consequence is that she is idolized without wanting it. Neru wants to achieve fame but through her own merits and not let herself be controlled or manipulated. And Teto hasn't achieved anything for those she loves, even so she supports her friends.
