The vehicle was packed full of armed and armored soldiers, their fingers ready on the trigger of their loaded guns. The life in the commonwealth had been peaceful and stable until another group of survivors attempted to infiltrate the settlement and cause chaos. After the situation had been dealt with, Carter had personally assigned the soldier's team to infiltrate and invade the enemy group's base, and they were now en route to carry out their mission. Thomas' head was leaning back against his seat, his eyes tightly closed, yet his gun still gripped firmly with his right hand. The men of his team exchanged amused looks as they noticed their sergeant quietly dozing off, yet again. His tendency to fall asleep in any and every place was one of his most amusing traits, and they couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. However, no one blamed him, knowing the grueling work and hours that he had put in constantly while commanding their team. Taking out his knife, he swiftly grabbed hold of a zombie's neck, and then drove his blade into the undead's temple, piercing deeply into its brain, killing it instantly.
