Darkforest is a 19-year-old wolf girl who lives in the Forever Night Forest. There lives the Storm Queen, someone who has it out for Darkforest. Darkforest has more power than the Storm Queen will ever have, but she doesn't know it. The Storm Queen does, causing her to constantly seek out Darkforest. One day, Darkforest is caught and has no choice but to strike a deal with the Storm Queen: She must find the Storm Bringer and bring him to the Storm Queen in exchange for her life. There's just one little problem: Darkforest must go into the Light Realm, where every danger is a death sentence...

The Storm Queen's lives in her shadow stone palace, where all of her prisoners live...and die.
