Makoto Nanyard (The Hungry Squirrel)

There is rarely ever a time when Makoto is not friendly towards someone, and rarer still are the times when she is serious. There are many times when she can act silly and absent minded, but there is a sharp intellect behind her mannerisms, and Makoto is keenly aware of her surroundings and the feelings of those around her. Growing up, Makoto faced extreme racial prejudice because of her species. Over time, she began to feel hatred for humans, but would never resort to violence. There were times where she would be physically abused by humans her own age just because of her demi-human heritage, but Makoto's only retaliation would be verbal comments. Thanks to Noel and Tsubaki's kindness, she overcame her hatred. Relius Clover, however, has noted that deep within her soul that her hatred still persists. Noel and Tsubaki are everything to Makoto. If anything were to happen to them, it would quite literally break her spirit.[7] She has the ability to make friends easily thanks to her outgoing nature, and hates to see her own friends fight amongst one another. Makoto will do anything for those she loves, and is especially close to her large family. In her spare time, Makoto can be found playing lacrosse or eating at all-you-can-eat buffets, two of her favorite activities. Appearance: Makoto is a squirrel-type Demi-Human woman with a huge, fluffy tail, light brown hair colored with patterns similar to her tail, hazel eyes, and squirrel ears. Makoto's combat outfit consists of a short halter top which covers only her upper torso and breasts, a black and orange coat over it with a black star on the back, black cargo jeans that hug her butt and thighs, fingerless gloves and sneakers, and a baseball cap with "Fatal Fury" on it. Makoto can easily punch huge craters into the ground with seemingly no effort - her physical abilities alone were enough to allow her admission into the Military Academy since her aptitude with Ars Magus is not exceptional. The increased strength, however, may be the result of her tonfas, Impact (インパクト, Inpakuto), which allows her to charge the strength of her blows. She can survive a journey through the Boundary thanks to her soul's power, and is even gifted with the Power of Order; Makoto gained this power through her determination and sheer will to protect her friends, allowing for her to resist Phenomenon Intervention, but it is nowhere near as strong as the power employed by Jin Kisaragi. In battle, Makoto uses a pair of cross-shaped tonfa to augment her incredible natural abilities. Her in-game Drive is Impact, which allows her to charge her punches to deliver blows of various strengths. Makoto can create projectiles and summon large projections of her fists to deliver long-ranged blows. However, after some training from watching footage of Terry Bogard from the King of Fighters and Fatal Fury tournaments, she picked up moves from him. Power Canon: Makoto can fire a projectile of energy that travels through the ground, or form an explosive area-of-effect strike known as Round Wave. Big Bang Geyser: By punching the ground, Makoto can make a more powerful version of the Power Wave, creating a massive geyser of energy coming from below the ground resembling a fist. She can either summon extra rows of geysers with a single punch, punch a few more times for one extra each, or wave her fist around to create more in one setting. Asteroid Vision: Makes three images of her as she rushes towards her opponent, which can be canceled to a dead halt, appear behind the opponent or to attack. Her normal attacks can be sly as well. -Break: Clones dissappear and the real one stops in front of the opponent. -Eclipse Turn: Makoto crosses up the opponent. Passes through opponent. Cancels Asteroid Vision. -Cosmic Ray: Makoto rushes forward in high speed and strikes the opponent with a punch. -Lunatic Upper: Uppercut. Cancels Asteroid Vision. Can be canceled into additional followups. -Infinite Rush: BBCS (Makoto InfiniteRush) Makoto goes into a Dempsey Roll, then uppercuts. Can be followed up with certain attacks after the second rolling punch. -Mars Chopper: Followup to Rush. Turning overhead punch. Can only combo after a counter hit or Rapid Cancel. -Star Gazer: Followup to Rush. Low sweep. -Lander Blow: Makoto hits the opponent with a powered up punch. Space Counter: Makoto rushes through the opponent with a straight punch. Corona Upper: Shoryuken-style uppercut Meteor Dunk: Follow up to Corona upper. She turns her cap momentarily before striking, and turns it back when she lands. Buster Flare: Makoto charges towards her opponent with a energy-charged punch, uppercuts the opponent, then jumps up after them for a massive punch strike. Meter appears three times. Impact Up Geyser: Makoto punches the ground three times, each creating a big geyser of energy. Astral Heat- Planet Crusher: Makoto charges up, then lunges forward. On hit, she then goes into a barrage of punches, then ends by punching the opponent through the moon.
