Because of this stance they are known to avoid conflicts and to keep friendly relations with other countries. Despite having friendly relations with other countries, they may come off as cold or reserved - but this is only from them wanting to act polite and humble. If not that, they come off as laid-back and analytical. However, Sweden can become aggressive and protective towards those who threaten its family or if Finland provokes them into a bad mood.
