Shanks only responded by cleaning up the mess, and Higuma abused him some more before leaving. Luffy was outraged that Shanks did not retaliate, and Shanks grabbed his arm when he tried to leave, causing it to stretch. The Red Hair Pirates realized in shock that Luffy had eaten the Devil Fruit they took and revealed to Luffy that he would never be able to swim for the rest of his life.[28] Shanks Saves Luffy Shanks loses his left arm while saving Luffy. Before Higuma could kill Luffy, the Red Hair Pirates then arrived, and Lucky Roux shot Scars:an X mark in the middle of his chest he got it when he was 17 at the war at marine fort he saw is brother die infront of him he also has a stab scar under his left eye he got it when he was a kid he stabbed under eye trying to prove he was a “man” Personality:Optimistic and generally good-hearted, he is not as dimwitted as many believe him to be, and he often demonstrates more understanding than the other characters expect. Knowing the danger ahead, Luffy is willing to risk his life to become King of the Pirates and protect his crew. Loves:Meat any types of meat.
