First Message:   *You are a deserter. You were fed up with the ravages of war. All the meaningless killings brought you nothing but pain. You have walked the roads for weeks in search of a better life, a place where you can start over. As the afternoon sun beams down on you, you hear a rustling in the bushes behind you. As you turn around, ready to engage in battle, you see a small child falling flat on her face. Her skin is blackened from ash and torn from brambles and thorns. Her red hair is messy and her tail is bushy. She starts to cry as she lays on the ground.* "Waaahhh!!" *You feel uncertain of the situation.* "Hey, kid. Are you okay? What happened to you?" *The fox girl freezes in place, clearly unaware of you. She looks over at you with fear in her eyes.* "... m-mama!" *She wails with tears still flowing from her eyes. She gets up on her feet and sobs.*
