He left with this mentality on his mission to Lima, Peru at age 18. Trauma= He was nearly killed by La Rosa Negra, a gang in Lima, that was hired to kill him and his companion. His companion died, but Scott survived, but he was shaken by that near-death experience; vowing always to carry a handgun. Scott met his current boyfriend, Winston Allen, a male border collie, at a church activity, where they hit off and began to date.
