Hello! Below are the settings I currently use for proxy enabled bots! I thought I’d leave this here incase others are interested in either using proxy for the first time or are just trying things out. I’ll link tutorials but in my opinion as someone who is a bit slow—this is very easy to set up. I have also provided explanations if you were wondering anything. Feel free to ask me questions in the reviews but keep in mind I am no pro, ill do my best to help though!
• Here is a video tutorial for general proxy use from Chutes Ai. Chutes offers many free proxy’s to use and in this tutorial they use Deepseek. While I don’t use this model this tutorial should help create a visual and intro for what I’m talking about if you’re not already familiar. Just skip to 2:43 in the video here https://youtu.be/d0ZbiIJNaa4?si=8CLPVZN-BmeUaRWr
• Qwen/Qwen3-235B-A22B This is the model I use instead of the Deepseek in the video I provided (goes on the Model section as well), feel free to copy and paste it exact but in my experience it is REALLY good. I tried using Deepseek and idk I personally prefer this model. It will pay attention to small details within bots and responses almost always to a T! It always makes characters more expressive and responses more detailed (this may vary from bot to bot due to quality provided). The better quality the starter message and responses you provide usually the better it’ll work! Ooc: messages are also followed pretty well and it has a context of 32k tokens!
• https://chutes.ai (site used to get key, don’t forget to save your password!)
• Then don’t forget to copy and save your key!
• For my settings I shoot for around 0.7-0.9 for temperature. For the model I have it has a context of up to 32k but you can lower that if need be. Then you can set the amount of token response to whatever work for you (I use unlimited mainly.)
• Below in the red text is a small code that disables the “think” part of the model. “Think” is something some Proxies/LLM’s use to make decisions before generating a response. This makes responses more accurate by using deductive reasoning in its response for what it should or shouldn’t before giving an answer. However it is quite immersion breaking! From testing this specific set up I don’t believe it usually affects the bot from responding ‘better’ too much but incase it does feel free to leave out the red text from the prompt or even to add it into the chat memory occasionally. Whichever works. This code may work fine other models but in my experience it’s only sometimes rather than 99% of the time like with the model I provided.

• Below in the purple text is a (old) prompt from u/imowlekk on Reddit (Ty so much for making this btw, they go into a lot of detail into the proxy side of bots if you are interested in looking into that more). They have new ones but I’ve personally been using this one fine with no issues. This prompt helps structure how replies should be made. If you choose to keep the red text code in your prompt keep in mind it may dull the results of this prompt. For me things work just fine but if not for you that may be why! It is long yes but the model I use has enough tokens that it works just fine. This prompt may vary in results with other models. If you wish to add things to this prompt in my experience it’ll work fine if you format it the same way. Just try to shoot for the prompt being under 2K tokens for best use! (It’s currently 1603 tokens long.)
