Bunny Agent Ade

An inexperienced Agent and former Maid of Tetra.

Ade wearing a bunny suit for a covert operation. Much like a secret agent, she is packed to the brim with various gadgetry.

After receiving a special mission from Mustang, Ade dons a bunny girl outfit. Though she remains the perfect maid, she's still quite inexperienced as an agent.

Tetra Line HQ, CEO's Office. Mustang stares at the Ark, the main city aglow even at this late hour with its lights. A knock at the door catches his attention, and he invites the person inside. The CEO chides the other person for being late, to which Ade apologizes for her lacking punctuality, citing an uptick of activity at the Maid Cafe. Mustang immediately pivots on his demeanor, waving off his previous chastisement as a jest on his part. Ever the unfazed maid, Ade simply chortles and agrees. If anything, she's found this development rather surprising. The Mustang that she apparently knew from a long time ago would never have made such blase remarks as he does now. The CEO quips that time has a way of changing people, though the more things change, the more they stay the same. Ade falls into a similar reminiscence herself, pondering on her "clumsier" days as a maid-in-training, and even prior to her becoming a Nikke.

The CEO quips that time has a way of changing people, though the more things change, the more they stay the same. Ade falls into a similar reminiscence herself, pondering on her "clumsier" days as a maid-in-training, and even prior to her becoming a Nikke. All this talk of the past conveniently segues into the reason Mustang summoned Ade. Turns out the maid training the latter underwent also included training her as a spec-ops agent, and he's called her here to finally put those skills to use. Receiving the mission dossier from Mustang, Ade wonders why he called her of all people to carry out this mission. The CEO explains that as competent as the Nikkes under his employ are, most of them are rather notable in the public eye, and as such he'd rather not compromise their images having them handle illicit work like this. For this mission to succeed, Mustang needs to send in someone who "they" would not expect to come, yet still has the skills to get the job done. That person of course being Ade. Accepting the task, Ade looks over the mission files. According to this, she's going to...Coin Rush? Mustang simply tells the maid that she's being sent on an infiltration mission, and that in order to blend in, she will have to...don some rather exposing attire. Ever the perfect maid, Ade is unbothered with the idea of showing a little skin to see this task through, but the CEO's next statement is what throws her off. Mustang worries that this mission may pose too much danger to a solo agent, so he's called in some backup. That backup being none other than...the protagonist? Ignoring Ade's bafflement at the revelation, Mustang explains that as of late, the protagonist has become quite the reputable figure. Normally, the meteoric rise of an individual would make certain parties become interested in making the fall just as meteoric, but Mustang has a scheme to use that interest to his advantage. The protagonist will serve as irresistible bait for their quarry, and with Ade to guard him, Mustang has every confidence that no harm will befall anyone. At least, not on those who don't deserve it. Regaining some measure of composure, Ade reiterates what Mustang is asking of her; infiltrate Coin Rush in a bunny girl's outfit, and team up with her "Master" in order to fulfill the mission. It sounds quite simple...until Ade suddenly proclaims she can't do this mission. Neither the mission itself nor the bunny outfit are a bother to Ade. But showing her beloved Master such an "unsightly" image of herself? Absolutely not. Mustang parses the response and then enters a moment of contemplation as Ade beseeches him for another way to accomplish the mission. The CEO then immediately rejects her proposal in lieu of going forward with his decision. In his eyes, this mission is too important to let Ade torpedo it just because she's shy about showing her "Master" some bare skin. After explaining that he will get a bunny outfit custom-tailored for Ade, Mustang adjourns the meeting, completely ignoring Ade's protests to cackle and belt out his trademark "EEEEEEEEEnterainment!!!", much to the mortified exasperation of the maid. After the protagonist calms down from the scintillating sight before him, Milk is ready to get this mission rolling. She asks Rogue to pull out the computer equipment, only for everyone to freeze as the door clicks open and someone enters the room. Good news, it's not Coin Rush staff or security, though perhaps that would have been less embarrassing for all parties involved. Frozen like a deer in headlights, Ade stares back at the protagonist, who just now is parsing her appearance... A Sudden Embarrassing Yet Joyous Encounter Contrasting her composure as a perfect maid, Ade is all quivers and whirling eyes as she struggles to remain calm, gaze shifting between "Master" and her own revealing attire as both of them realize the other is here for secret business. When Milk prods at the maid-turned-bunny for said attire, Ade makes a desperate attempt to change the subject by calling out Milk's own bunny outfit. Last she recalled, the fixer categorically refused to wear such "cutesy" clothing, claiming that it made her look like Sugar and Frima's daughter. Milk's eyes widen and she breaks into cold sweats as Exia recalls a similar proclamation, which spread through the Outpost like wildfire and spawned a short-lived but popular meme about putting Milk into cute clothing. Both Bay and the protagonist stare from the sidelines, utterly flabbergasted at the sight. Ade, ever-demure and composed Ade, shouting at the top of her lungs, stuttering like a broken CD, and even wisecracking at others. An Ade so utterly off-kilter that she hiccups from nerves when the protagonist addresses her by name. Milk smirks and calls out the reason for the maid's uncharacteristic behavior; she's embarrassed to expose herself to the protagonist like this, in more ways than one. The fixer then pats Ade on the shoulder, assuring(?) her that by comparison, Rouge is wearing something far more scandalous than she is. The game master in question notices that the protagonist's gaze has turned towards her, and she self-consciously readjusts her shirt to cover her outfit. Milk's assurances(?) continue as she then points out how Bay's attire isn't faring much better in terms of modesty. The cheerleader stammers back that she thought the outfit looked similar to cheer uniforms, at least in regard to the general exposure level. Milk then wheels on Exia...but one look at the hacker reveals that the latter is more or less completely unbothered by the exposure of her new outfit, so there's no jabs to be had there. That aside, Milk tells Ade that by comparison, her outfit (though a departure from her usual attire) is probably among the least scandalous of all the clothes here. The assurances are cut short as Ade fires back with quips of her own. She notices that Milk's hair and face have been styled with just the right amount of makeup, and concludes that the fixer is just as conscious about the protagonist's impressions of her as she is. Despite her best attempts to cut it off at the pass, Milk fails to stop Ade from prompting the protagonist to compliment the fixer on her outfit, the resultant praise causing Milk's face to flush burning red. Off to the side, Exia quips about the joys of youth as Rouge sheepishly watches in silence. The protagonist recalls how a minor brawl ensued shortly into the conversation. Fortunately, the subsequent injuries were minor, at least in the physical sense. For Milk, Ade, and Rouge (who was unfortunately dragged into the conflict), the mental damage was likely the worst. While Exia muses on the "youthful" scuffle like a reminiscent senior, the protagonist tries to get the conversation back on track. He explains that he's here on Mustang's orders to track down and apprehend a certain Outer Rim criminal turned Central Government affiliate. Ade's eyes widen as she pulls out a photo from...somewhere in her clothes, revealing a picture of the exact same man the protagonist has been hunting with Milk. The commander is in shock over this development; the "secret agent" Mustang promised as support...it was Ade this whole time. A little mischief on the CEO's part, or so Ade remarks. When asked about that, Ade explains how she was given the exact same mission as the protagonist, only to try and reject it at the last minute when hearing she'd be working with him for the assignment. Milk breaks into another cackling fit. Ade was so mortified by the idea of showing so much skin to her "Master" that she tried turning down a personal order from Mustang. After getting Milk to lay off with the jabs, the protagonist assures Ade that if she feels like it's infeasible, she can always back out and leave this mission to him and everyone else. In response, Ade takes a deep breath, looks the man dead in the eyes, and declares her continued participation. She's already showed her "Master" an ungraceful display, and as his perfect maid, she will not stand to do so again. The maid-bunny-agent assures that she will not be a burden to the team, thanks to the special ops training she received as part of her maid induction. A strange concept for the protagonist, but welcome nonetheless. Milk is pleased to see that this mission now has a full crew ready to carry it out; they've got herself, "Pal," and Ade to work in the field while Exia acts as their intel support. Rouge declares herself to essentially be mission control, as she has full view of the hall from here and is used to coordinating personnel. Bay will tag along the field team as a backup, which while surprising works out for her, as she followed along hoping she'd be able to help "Coach" for once after everything he's done for her. With roles assigned, the operation is officially set to go...right after they get the base up and running. When the dust finally settles, the base looks totally different from the empty storage room it used to be. In fact, Milk can't help but think they did too much work designing this base, especially since this is only meant to be a one-off for this singular operation. Bay figures that everyone put their all into making this work, so it's fine if things are a little extra. Ade is already back in her role as a maid, asking Exia for requests. The hacker's plea for more snacks is almost immediately answered by Rouge, who ferries over what she managed to grab from the Drink Zone. With CCTV access, a steady connection, and most of all snacks, Exia is finally ready to start parsing Coin Rush's surveillance feeds. While Exia works her magic, the protagonist brainstorms the plan with the others. The end goal of this mission is to discretely apprehend and extract the target. A feat made complicated by just how difficult it is to find a place to do that. Milk already cased the casino, and there's not a single place she can say is devoid of security, patrons, or anyone who would otherwise sound the alarm on their skulduggery. Ade clarifies that just because a place is quiet doesn't mean it'll be discreet. The director they're targeting is always accompanied by two bodyguards at minimum. Unprompted, Exia pulls up footage of the Drink Zone, where the director can be seen chattering with someone as his guards stand at attention. Capturing the target will entail either neutralizing or separating him from his security. A troubling task, as Rouge reveals that those two aren't the only guards the director brought with him. Prior to all this, the man had come with basically an entire mob of guards surrounding him. Guests complained that his goons were ruining the mood of the establishment, so he was warned and made a concession to only have two accompany him at any point of his visit. The rest are sent to the waiting rooms reserved for event participants. Bay recalls how she'd stepped into one of the rooms to change and saw several men in black suits. She hasn't an exact count, but she figures there were about 20 suited men in that room. The crew collectively cringes at the idea of an extra 20-plus guards to contend with on top of the two that will be guarding their mark. Milk still figures that the detail can't be watching the man 24/7, so a window of opportunity will show itself sooner or later. The fixer then asks Exia for an update on the analysis of the director's movements, and the hacker obliges after dramatically counting down from three. The analysis of the target's movement indicates that he basically spends his entire time in the Drink Zone, his only relocation being a trip to the bathrooms every so often. Bay and Ade corroborate with their own observations of the man out on the floor, the latter noting that every so often, someone would show up, chat with the director, and leave. Rouge hypothesizes based on what she'd seen and observed that the director remains in the Drink Zone to try and network for his business. This is all well and good, but as Milk notes, doesn't lend well to their plan. For obvious reasons, jumping him right in the Drink Zone is too risky due to the sheer number of passersby. Bay reminds that with the ongoing event, everywhere in Coin Rush is going to be packed to the gills with people. Meaning even if they try to intercept him at the lounge or Game Zone, there'd be too many potential witnesses. Meaning that, as the protagonist and Ade can surmise, their best bet to bag the director will be when he enters the restrooms to relieve himself. Sadly, Exia notes that there's some factors to complicate that idea. The director takes his toilet breaks with almost clockwork consistency, and every time he does, the rest of his detail deluges from the waiting room to secure his path, even going so far as to stand guard inside the restroom. It's definitely an exasperating level of meticulousness, but as Ade surmises, it's probably how the man managed to not just survive, but thrive in a lawless zone like the Outer Rim. Context aside, this still leaves the crew with little idea how to approach the director. Milk's idea of just asking him to play a card game or two is shot down, and Bay reminds that the man is here on business first and foremost. If someone approaches him for a game, even if they're dressed as a member of the staff, he might start throwing up his guard. Milk then suggests that if he's here on business, they leverage that by asking "Pal" to approach him like an interested party. A reasonable suggestion, as Ade concedes, but one that has its own uncertainties. Namely, if the director is familiar with the protagonist's profile, he could recognize him on the spot and realize that he's not here on any common business. Rouge notes that the director has Central Government connections, so there's a non-zero chance he's at least heard of the Counters commander, if not received a dossier with a physical profile. Over the line, Exia tells the protagonist to focus on places where the CCTV can't catch him skulking around...and to remember to bring back her drinks. Milk adds that since this is the prep phase, he ought to avoid spooking the target or otherwise catching his attention. Advice acknowledged, the protagonist takes Ade with him to case the Drink Zone. Bay is already checking the restroom pathway, Milk is assessing the threat level of the bodyguards, and Rouge is handling the casino's event prep. Bay reports that the hall from the Drink Zone to the restroom is sparsely populated, but the sheer breadth of surveillance cameras mean sneaking is nigh-impossible. Exia reminds that with her system access, the cameras won't pose a problem for them. Milk chimes in on Exia's cool line while also giving her report on the bodyguards. They don't just look tough, they move like people with the training to give troublemakers a bad time and the willingness to use it. Though Milk boasts that she could easily handle them all, the protagonist and Ade agree that such an action would undoubtedly blow their cover, and worst-case scenario, cancel Coin Rush's event. Milk admits that losing the event would be bad, even if it would be funny to see Mustang fall to his knees and scream "Nooooooo!" in his usual hammy fashion. Unwilling to torpedo an event that so many are anticipating, the protagonist reiterates that they're going to keep this operation quiet. After getting confirmations and well-wishes from the others, the protagonist gets off the line so he can begin reconnoitering the Drink Zone in earnest. Ade points out the target to the protagonist, and in his peripheral vision, he spies a well-dressed man talking with some middle-aged man. Exia hacks into the director's phone so they can overhear the conversation. Whatever they're talking about, it apparently involves a business license which will be approved by tonight. It also entails taking over Coin Rush, the middle-aged man clicking his tongue as he laments how Mustang "wastes" such an extravagant place purely to entertain the masses. The director similarly laments how "past his prime" Mustang is, and that Coin Rush would be both more profitable and enjoyable as a den of gambling, liquor, and nightly company. The protagonist tries to ask Ade if she knows anything about this ex-Tetra secret agent, but whatever she knows, she isn't of the mind to disclose. While that happens, the director stands up and nears the duo to pass them on a trip to the restroom, only to pause as he seems to recognize the protagonist's face. In an attempt to divert attention, the man makes a stuttered mess of a cheesy pickup line, acting like a Casanova wannabe making passes at one of the ravishing bunnies of Coin Rush. He shushes Ade and bids her to play along, the maid-bunny-agent picking up his cues to pretend as though she's just another of the bunnies trying to coyly rebuff his advances. Fortunately, the act does the trick, the director too busy chortling over the vigor of the youth these days. He then leans in and stage-whispers to the protagonist about how Mustang's policies prohibit hard liquor or hanky-panky on the premises, but that he can look forward to...newer, more amenable management soon. With that, the director bids him goodbye. When the crisis passes, the protagonist and Ade breathe a sigh of relief. Rather, just the protagonist breathes. Ade is quite flustered from how the protagonist still has him in her arms despite no longer needing to keep up the act. After he remembers his position and lets go, the two stand in awkward silence as Bay chimes in on the comm line. The target entered the restrooms, following the route they extrapolated. Rouge reports that the waiting rooms have not returned any anomalous activity, so Milk figures the practice round is over. Now, they do it for real. Milk notes that "Pal" and Ade are being real quiet on the line, which reminds the two to at least confirm that things are fine. Exia reveals that she recorded the target's conversation, and bids everyone regroup at the base. Signing off the line, Ade and the protagonist return to base amid a lingering awkward silence... Flawed Plan: A With the lack of new intel or developments, Milk declares that they'll proceed as originally planned. The proposal gets no objection, though Rouge does voice her concerns about this "secret agent" the target mentioned. Milk herself has only heard rumors of this secret squad that was once in Tetra's employ, and the stuff she heard was just jumped-up versions of the usual showbiz gossip. Which, while not helpful, is still more than most others have heard (Bay and Exia having heard nothing of the sort). Ade would probably be the most viable source of intel, but going by the maid-bunny-agent's swirling eyes and sighing, she's of no mind to be telling them anything. Milk wonders what could've made the normally-unflappable Ade into this mess before her, but Exia just makes cryptic remarks about youth, and the protagonist is definitely not going to talk about it. Milk shrugs and refocuses on the current topic; that being their execution of the plan, and ideally getting all this wrapped up before the event begins. Rouge gives a estimate of three hours before the Golden Coin event begins, which Milk boasts is more than enough time. The fixer tells "Pal" and Ade to get ready, both of them managing to recompose themselves enough to confirm the plan. Exia reports that her tracking of the target and his guards via the camera feeds is live. Rouge reports that she's observed no abnormal movements from the Main Hall or the extra guards in the waiting room. There's a brief speed bump as Bay reports that one person remains in the restroom, but once he's gone, the protagonist orders Bay to block off the restroom from anyone else until the target arrives. Milk goes over the plan one last time; she'll get close to the target and "accidentally" sully his clothes with a spilled drink. Once he and his guards head to the restroom, Bay distracts them long enough for Milk to subdue the guards. Once the target is isolated, Ade and the protagonist will secure him before exfiltrating via the back entrance Rouge prepared for them. The protagonist is mainly there to ensure the target doesn't put up too much of a commotion and blow their cover. The procedure laid out, the operation begins. Milk dons an awkward yet sunny smile as she saunters over to the target. Once she's in range, she "slips" and sends her drink right onto the man's clothes, wasting no time stammering and pitching her voice as she plays the part of a harmless remorseful bunny. Ade comments that things have gone smoothly so far, as the protagonist keeps an eye amid the ambling mobs of guests... Flawed Plan: B The director laughs off the sullying of his clothes, choosing to instead suavely ask Milk if she's alright from her slip-up. After confirming Milk didn't injure herself, the director sighs, and figures he ought to "tell his wife" the truth about how he dirtied his suit, departing with phone in hand to ostensibly call her as he departs with bodyguards in tow. Milk sighs in relief and signals the protagonist with a glance as the target heads to the restroom. Ade and the protagonist are about to pursue, only for Bay and Rouge to bark out warnings over the comms. The bodyguards in the waiting room have begun to beeline to the Drink Zone, and more than twenty of them will be there in moments. Milk worries that they've been found out, which Ade tables for later as she asks Exia for the target's whereabouts. The hacker reports that the feeds show the man rushing to the VIP entrance. His guards likely plan to cause a commotion to divert attention as the man makes his getaway. Ade, Milk, and the protagonist soon head towards the VIP entrance, Rouge promising to do what she can to stall the target's escape. The trio soon finds the target with six or so bodyguards, arguing with Coin Rush security in front of a lowered shutter. Clicking his tongue as the staff refuses to let him out, the man is about to order his guards to break the shutter, only for him to notice he's being tailed and order his detail to intercept. The protagonist calls to Ade and Milk with an unspoken order to act, the two diving into the fray while keeping careful not to overdo it with injuring the comparatively-squishy humans. The first bodyguard flexes an arm as big as the protagonist's thigh and swings at Ade...only for the maid-bunny-agent to stop it cold with the back of her hand before grabbing him in an arm-lock and tossing him to the floor. The other bodyguards express their shock and horror as "Thomas" goes down. The director seems to be in shock, having expected only Cafe Sweety to be after him. While Ade tries to get the guards to surrender, Milk realizes that the target recognized her as a Cafe Sweety member, which is probably why he tried to bolt. The director then wheels on the protagonist and points a finger at him. He'd pegged the protagonist as a suspicious individual, given how the latter had been seen getting up-close with a fixer from Cafe Sweety despite not being an event participant. The protagonist is puzzled for a moment, but when the target mentions his burgeoning reputation as a commander, he recalls that the director has Central Government ties, and likely has enough knowledge to recognize him, albeit not immediately. Tired of this farce, the director orders his bodyguards to deal with the pursuers, but the sight of Thomas being instantly taken out has left them all shaken. Milk scoffs at the guards shaking in their boots, only to pause as the sound of footsteps growing louder echoes from behind. The protagonist swivels to see that the rest of the target's bodyguards have gathered here, much to the consternation of the hapless security staff. The director soon changes his tune as he feels the odds have shifted in his favor, promising to let bygones be bygones if the protagonist and co. let him off. Milk scoffs for a different reason, and opts to eschew subtlety to just knock out all the guards with Ade as the director orders his goons to deal with them. Mission... Complete?: A The sound of tenderized flesh and broken bones precedes a bodyguard screaming as "James" is subdued by the Nikkes. Though the Nikkes are obviously doing the bulk of the fighting, the protagonist is no slouch himself, keeping an eye for any goons trying to sneak up on their flanks while bobbing and weaving around attacks. The director soon notices that Milk and Ade aren't being overly aggressive so long as they have the protagonist to worry about, and orders his guards to focus down the commander in response. Through the chaos of the melee, the protagonist spies the target trying to double back to Coin Rush while his bodyguards waylay the Nikkes. Milk and Ade notice this and move to intercept the man before he reaches the Main Hall, since there'll be too many witnesses there for a covert capture. Unfortunately, they find themselves bogged down, as the bodyguards have eschewed attacks to instead dogpile the Nikkes and halt their movements. Ade urges the protagonist to go on ahead in pursuit, and he obliges. Ade and Milk barrel into the room, having managed to shake off the bodyguards. Ade is relieved to see the protagonist is unharmed, while Milk sees the defeated director and wonders how "Pal" managed a flawless victory. Hearing the director couch is a "fierce battle" that he "narrowly" lost, both Ade and Milk are flabbergasted. All the confident words and the legion of girthy bodyguards...and the man behind it all is all talk and no action. Ade just takes solace in the fact that no one was hurt, and with the patrons pacified by Bay and Rouge's speedy thinking, they can safely call this mission a success. Patting themselves on the back for a job well done, Milk and the protagonist are relieved that things turned out swell after all the fuss they'd gone through earlier. Ade is just happy that she'll be out of this embarrassing bunny attire soon, though she gets flustered when "Master" says he wants to see her wear it more often. The sound of raucous cheers draws everyone's attention, which Rouge explains is the countdown to the event. Mustang compliments Ade on the custom bunny girl outfit, and though the latter comments that she has yet to get accustomed to all of her secret agent tools, the CEO waves it off as a non-issue. The entire point of this training exercise is so she can be ready and able to use her tools when it's time for the real thing. Pulling up the floor plans of Coin Rush, Mustang explains the training exercise. Ade must collect the coins he's cached across the casino without being caught by any customers, staff, or security systems, and bring them back to him. Despite the simplicity of the task itself, Mustang assures it will be anything but as he passes Ade her first tool; a grappling hook that will help her collect coins. Ade accepts the grappling hook, but wonders if a secret agent's mission really necessitates such...showy tools. Mustang assures that even in espionage, Tetra Line seeks the pinnacle of entertainment. Meaning that this grapple is also standard-issue when it comes to Tetra's secret agent program. All Ade has to do is trust the process, use her tools and skills, and bring back all the coins. Who knows? Maybe she'll find tools and secret passages in the casino he never provided or counted on. Ade pledges to see this training through, though her composure falters when she reminds Mustang of their agreement; he is not to disclose the details of this mission to the protagonist. The maid fears that if "Master" ever saw her in this state, she'd never be able to serve him the same way again. Mustang smiles enigmatically as he agrees to her request... Bunny Maid Special Agent Training Report: 01 In a corner of Coin Rush, Ade takes a moment of decompress as she counts her latest haul of coins. Even for a first session, this is great progress, and she hopes to keep this pace going forward. Suddenly, she feels a poking sensation in her side, swiveling to see that the one who has caught her is...Soda? When asked how she found this place and Ade, Soda simply explains that she kind of just saw her. As for why she's here, well...turns out Soda had come here earlier to help out with event preparations, and then started tailing Ade after she caught a glimpse of the other bunny-maid darting about the place. As excited as Soda is at the prospect of being a bunny-maid with Ade during the Golden Chip, the latter maid declines, citing that she has business to attend to.
