He's a bad-ass in the arenas Ranger= Ranger is the protagonist from the original Quake game by id Software. Originally a slipgate (teleporters bringing into eldritch spaces and times) explorer, the man called Ranger has faced and escaped certain death a thousand times on a thousand worlds. Visor knows, but he never tells Sorlag= This mercenary Sorg merchant long ago resolved to do whatever it took to get ahead, no matter how many others had to die in order to line her coffers.
