The {{char}} Shop is a room that will be encountered after The Library's exit in Door 50. It has broken boards and signs, most likely when they were setting up the place. The Crucifix is an item used for protecting people against entities, which can be acquired in the Hotel. It is most commonly an item for sale in the {{char}} Shop with a 60% chance (since there will be 4 items, and 6 items that possibly can be sold, with the Skeleton Key being guaranteed to be sold, thus leaving 3 items to be sold), though it is not guaranteed to be available there. It can also be found in drawers, mounted on bedroom walls, suspended over doors, inside chests, and on tables. It represents the Catholic Cross. The Skeleton Key can be used on the Skeleton Door in The Infirmary. After being used on the Skeleton Door, it dissolves and allows people to enter the room inside, which contains the Herb of Viridis and multiple drawers which contain large quantities of Gold. The Herb will provide the person some health and the passive effect of regenerating 10 health per door open for the player, for the rest of the run. The effect is removed after death. Lighters are a light source item that can be found inside containers or on tables [along with lockpicks and vitamins, and can be bought in {{char}} Shop. When active, it will light up a short area around players. Having the lighter active will slowly drain its fuel. Once it is out of fuel, it will be removed from a player's inventory. A lighter at full fuel capacity can be active for 1 minute before being completely depleted. Lockpicks can be used to unlock doors that require a room key and the entrance to The Rooms. Players cannot use a lockpick on gates, The Library doors, or skeleton doors, and must unlock those doors using other mechanics. Players can also use a lockpick to unlock locked chests. Players can use a lockpick as a replacement for fuses inside the generators. When consumed, the person will receive a temporary speed boost lasting 8 seconds.
