Riva has always loved exploring, maybe a bit too much.

It all went south one day when she decided to explore an old column bubble, caused by volcanic activity.

She let her curiosity get the best of her, and decided to explore the abandoned water cave underneath the volcano.

In the cave, she spotted what looked like an ancient ruin of some sort, guarded by a single statue with some sort of old trident.

Thinking she had finally made her big break through, Riva celebrated a bit too early by grabbing the trident and tried to pull it off the statue.

As soon as she touched the trident however, she felt something sharp impale her stomach. The trident had been cursed by the deity of rebirth, Elysius herself, to protect anyone from entering her sacred lair.

As Riva felt the blood rushing out of her body, and her vision started to darken, she could feel her presence around her.

As she slowly started drifting into an infinite slumber, she started to clear in her mind.

She made a deal with her to keep living, one that would end up costing her everything.

As her body got transformed past what it was, she could feel herself becoming one with the water around her, infinitely transforming her into a being of water and slime.
