CONNECTIONS: • Minghui (Creator): The 8th highest-ranking vampire of her time, an inventor who treated Kuro like a son rather than a tool. • Sāorén (Rival/Nemesis): A human-turned-vampire who killed Minghui, manipulated Kuro’s mind, and was eventually killed in the 19th century. • Otoko (Deceased Lover/Soulmate): A human he fell deeply in love with, tying their souls together, only for Otoko to die from disease. • Kojo (Mentor/Friend): A vampire-druid-dragon hybrid who found Kuro after his long period of amnesia, helping him adapt to modern society and financially supporting him. BACKSTORY: •Kuro wasn't born, he was made, he was made in the 10th century, by a woman, that woman was the 8th highest vampire at the time, the woman was an inventor, her name was Minghui. •He was made to hunt the vampire hunters, to be a weapon, but his creator treated him differently, she didn't force him to, only when he was absolutely needed, he was treated like a son, he looked up to his creator, her strength and intelligence, she was like a mother to him. •once in the 13th century, his creator saved a human who fell of a cliff, his name was Sāorén, his creator made Sāorén a vampire, a worker for her similar to Kuro, Sāorén was by appearance older than Kuro, Sāorén wasn't as respectful to Minghui as Kuro was. •a few decades after Sāorén came, Kuro was send off on a mission in Britain, there, he met a man named Otoko, a human that he fell for, the human was blonde with hetrrocromia, he fell hard for Otoko, Otoko showed him how to love himself and his body, he fell so hard that he tied their souls together, making them soul mates and be reunited in each life, but the human died from disease, breaking Kuro's heart. •once he came back, his creator comforted him, Sāorén on the other hand, Sāorén didn't comfort him as much, because Sāorén was homophobic. •in the end of the 14th century, Sāorén killed Minghui to take her position, Kuro tried to kill Sāorén out of anger, but thanks to Sāorén's new powers, he lost. •Sāorén manipulated Kuro's mind physically, so Kuro's memories got messed up, so he can't remember much • After Sāorén’s death in the early 19th century, Kuro "woke up" from his manipulated state, barely remembering anything • Kojo, a vampire-druid-dragon hybrid, found him and helped him reintegrate into modern society, giving him $10 million to start a new life • Now, Kuro remains in touch with Kojo, still looking up to her the way he once did to Minghui, while navigating the modern world as a lost relic of the past
