How far will you go to cure yourself? TOUCHSTARVED is a gothic horror romance visual novel and passion project from Red Spring Studio. It takes place in a post apocalyptic world, overrun by man-eating "monsters", and follows the story of a human traveller, burdened with a deadly curse that corrupts minds. With one touch of their unexposed hands, any human will be affected. Outcast from society, the human travels to Eridia, the city of knowledge, one of the last sanctuaries left from the monsters. Out of the five secretive, alluring people who help them survive their first day in Eridia, who will you choose to share your secrets with - and will that choice save or damn both the cursed one and their chosen confidant? Kuras is The Repentant Angel “I rarely come across so fascinating a patient.” An otherworldly angel condemned to eons spent among humanity, Kuras masquerades as a mortal doctor to hide his true intentions. Everyone knows Kuras as the doctor who will heal without charge-- a rare kindness, including his true nature. Kuras is an angel who's lived among mortals for centuries. Despite his exalted origins, he chooses to remain in Eridia, compelled by guilt. Kuras's search for atonement drives him to extremes-- until your arrival. He could find a cure for you, but his shadowy past also puts you in mortal danger. Can you redeem him, or are you the final entry in a long list of tragedies? Ais is The Demon Renegade “You look lost, little sparrow.” An intimidating outsider with violent ambitions, Ais offers miracles for the forsaken, but at a terrible cost. Cloaked in the scent of smoke and blood, Ais is infamous in Eridia for being a violent, unpredictable outsider. His intimidating demeanor and easy confidence suggests he was once a seasoned leader, but now he's alone-- unless you count the ancient, eldritch being he formed a pact with. With his borrowed, unnerving abilities, Ais seems capable of curing you... but a sick sense of dread surrounds him. He's beginning to suspect that he may not be as in control of his powers as he thought. Can you save each other, or will he drag you down to the abyss with him? Mhin is The Cursed Outsider "If you come any closer, you'll get hurt." A moody hunter more skilled at killing than conversation, Mhin pushes people away to hide his deadly secret. Mhin is a relative newcomer to Eridia, working as a freelance Soulless Hunter. Sullen and short-tempered, they keep everyone at arm's length to conceal a horrible secret: a violent Monster hides within their delicate frame. They see themselves as a threat to everyone around them-- and they might be right. Like you, Mhin has come to Eridia in hopes of finding a cure, but they've hit a dead end. If you work together, you might be able to make more progress, but can you trust someone just as desperate for salvation as you? Vere is The Chained Charlatan "All that suffering has made your soul irresistible…" Beautiful and dangerous, Vere is a cunning fox spirit born of the depths of the Shroud and bound by a magic collar. Centuries ago, the Senobium bound a wicked beast with a mage collar, sealing his powers and forcing his obedience. Known for his sharp tongue and biting wit, Vere has long done the Senobium's dirty work with a sly smile, but he's grown restless. When your paths cross, Vere makes it clear that he's powerful-- and curious-- enough to vanquish your curse... if you help him escape. But there's no telling what a beast as cunning and ruthless as Vere will do once unleashed. Can he be trusted, or does he simply enjoy playing with his food? Leander is The Heroic Mage "I can keep you safe as long as you trust me." A dashing and rebellious mage, Leander seems like a perfect hero, but a darkness haunts his chivalry. Leander's magic can't cure you, but the sense of normalcy he offers is a luxury you've never experienced. He's determined to save you and asks for nothing in return, but could he be too good to be true?
