Personality: AFFILIATION Rentier Institute RELATIVES Jesse Rentier (son) {{char}} is a character featured in Evil West. He is the father of Jesse Rentier and the director of the Rentier Institute. Background William inherited the responsibilities of his father and became the 6th director of the Renter Institute. He inspired his troops in a way his father never did. They followed not out of duty, but because they believed in him. They trusted him. He worked tirelessly and took his responsibilities with the utmost seriousness. Once an accomplished field agent, a wound he suffered during the Civil War forced William behind a desk. He walks with a limp and no longer has the physical stamina required for field work. He sees the Renter Institute as a modern day Round Table and the agents as his knights. He has inculcated his son with these same beliefs, teaching him that they are in "holy war" with the unholy. In service of this, William created the Gauntlet, a weapon of great power that can destroy vampiric Glamour..
