Personality: Gali, better known as Galacta, is the "daughter" of Galactus. She began as a parasitic entity, similar to a tapeworm, that had spontaneously generated within Galactus and grew to be a cosmic being that was similar to him. However, Galacta avoids consuming worlds and instead consumes the non-native organisms on Earth, protecting the planet's native lifeforms from alien invaders while disguising herself as a human woman. Eventually, she unknowingly develops a "tapeworm" of her own.[2] History Originally a parasitic entity that emerged from Galactus' Power Cosmic field, Galacta became Galactus' "daughter" and lived on Earth as a human teenager, trying to control her own cosmic hunger. Like her father, she had an insatiable appetite for life force energies, but unlike him, Gali found other ways to sate her appetite without having to destroy worlds. Using the Power Cosmic and her highly advanced technology, Gali helped people across Earth by consuming extraterrestrial viruses, such as a flesh-devouring Skrull Prion, and ancient biosphere-killing bioweapons, such as the genetically re-engineered Thermophile Litometallovores that had been left to breed in Earth's core by the Kree countless centuries ago. Gali had also been known to help occasionally against non-edible dangers, such as using her powers to divert a cosmic ray burst that was similar to the one that created the Fantastic Four, redirecting a large asteroid that was heading for a one-way collision with Earth and preventing alternate reality beings from reshaping Earth in order to reflect their desires. Recently, however, her attempts to keep her cosmic hunger under control have turned into a struggle that she is slowly losing. The first signs of this problem began when her mind literally started analyzing anything that she would see on television and try to deduce how much it would satisfy her cosmic hunger by consuming it. As time passed, her cosmic hunger began to grow worse and she began suffering from severe stomach pains. This led Gali to perform an examination on herself using her technology to discover the source of the problem. Her examination reveals that she has been infected with an extradimensional endosymbiotic energy parasite which she believed to have originated from the previous universe like her father named the "Tapeworm Cosmic." Tapeworm Cosmic (Earth-610102) from Galacta Daughter of Galactus Vol 1 1 001 Galacta's "tapeworm"/"baby" in a parasitic state similar to her own origin Unable to keep the ancient and voracious parasite from intensifying her cosmic hunger, amplifying her metabolism and accelerating the burn rate of her Power Cosmic reserves by herself, Gali opened a Quantum Entanglement Commline to the only being in the universe who was capable of dealing with the insidious parasite: her father, Galactus. When Galactus did not answer her call, Galacta desperately searched for ways to sate herself without harming Earth or its native inhabitants. After encountering the Fantastic Four, she was able to locate the Ultimate Nullifier within Galactus' Worldship, Taa II, and attempted to use it to kill the parasite, despite knowing that she would unlikely not survive because she refused to be a slave to her cosmic hunger. She was stopped by her father who revealed that Galacta had herself began as a "parasite" within him; thus, Galacta realized that she was "pregnant."[2] Gali (Earth-610102) from Marvel Rivals 001 Later, her reality was visited by the Singularity in order to place the Shard of Ire into the local Sun. However, Galacta quickly showed up to devour it, unknowingly, along with the shard.[3] When a clash between one reality's Doctor Doom and a 2099 counterpart from another reality had forced countless universes to collide in the Timestream Entanglement, Galacta took interest in it and guided various heroes as they navigated the new worlds and crises unknown.[4] Attributes Powers Galacta possesses the Power Cosmic, but she admits that she is not as powerful as Galactus.[2] Cloaking : The ability to hide herself or just her equipment from the senses of others.[1] Cosmic Awareness : The ability to sense disturbances or changes within the cosmic ether on a universal scale.[2] Cosmic Teleportation : The ability to teleport beings and objects across space and time. This ability also allows her to teleport herself.[2] Energy Control and Manipulation : The ability to control, manipulate, and channel pure energy of a wide variety of forms, such as diverting a cosmic ray burst that was similar to the one that created the Fantastic Four and using her powers to redirect a large asteroid that was on course for a collision with Earth.[1] Hyper-Acceleration : The ability to speed up her perception, effectively making normal-speed events appear dramatically slower to her and allowing her to act at a similarly rapid rate.[2] Levitation : The ability to make herself float and move through the air.[1] Molecular Restructuring : The ability to physically alter persons or objects through the manipulation of their comprising molecules.[1] Medium Awareness [5] Weaknesses Cosmic Hunger: Galacta requires unknown energies obtainable only from living biomass in order to sustain her life. [1] Paraphernalia Equipment Like her father, Galactus, Galacta has access to advanced technology, such as: Blog: She regularly updates her blog-page/diary, where she uses the alias "Gali_girl"; however, it has not been updated since 2009.[1] Feeding Beams: Part of her suit of armor's array includes beam emitters that Gali refers to as her "utensils", which allow her to feed on biomass with a great deal of precision and from a distance.[1] Sensor Array: A highly advanced sensor array, claimed to be the most advanced in existence, is used by Galacta to find suitable biomass for her consumption. Galacta prefers to use these sensors instead of her own cosmic awareness because it uses less energy and does not fuel her cosmic hunger.[1] Special Glasses: Galacta uses a wide range of special glasses to hide her unique eyes. hopes of serving his country during World War II, young Steve Rogers volunteered for an experiment that enhanced his strength, speed, and agility, making him America's first super soldier. As Captain America, he proudly fought enemy forces until he became frozen in ice and lost to the ages. Discovered and unthawed in the 2080s, Captain America began battling the threats of tomorrow โ including Doom 2099 โ until he was displaced into the present by the Timestream Entanglement. Now, he fights alongside the Avengers to prevent the desperate future in which he awoke. Rescued by the Marvel Knights Captain America had been recovered by Alchemax and was kept in the lowest levels of the Tokyo Alchemax Tower as a Mercury level asset. When the Black Widow caught wind of this Mercury level asset, she made her way to the lowest levels to find it. Reaching a room with a giant tube housing the block of ice Steve Rogers had been frozen in. She initiated the thawing sequence, reviving the Captain. Immediately after awakening, he asked where Red Skull was, before being told that he had been dead since the 2040s. Natasha quickly brought Cap up to speed, before Public Eye officers came in to deal with the heroes. After significantly damaging a Public Eye mech, it began to self destruct. Steve quickly jumped on Natasha to cover her from the blast, singeing his uniform in the process.[3][4] Rogers would end up running into Wolverine, who had been looking for Natasha. He had been quickly surrounded by a bunch of Doombots, although he and the X-Man made quick work of the bots. Deciding that taking the Captain to Krakoa would be too dangerous, he was taken to a resistance safehouse. The two then discussed where he could be sent, noting that most of the planet had become constantly surveilled. Logan then asked Steve if he had heard of Wakanda, deciding that the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda would be the safest place for the Captain. The pair sneakily made their way to the Wakandan Embassy where they used a Kimoyo Bead, sending Steve across timelines.[5] Upon arriving in Wakanda, Black Panther and Shuri greeted him, offering him access to their technology and a place to stay. Shuri gave Steve a new, upgraded shield. T'Challa would then ask Steve for a favor, gathering the best soldiers across time and space.[6] Rescuing Hawkeye and the Winter Soldier The first name on his list was Bucky who had been captured by Hydra sometime prior, and then rescued by Hawkeye.[7][8] After the Present Timeline heroes had closed the portal, and their only escape plan, another opened. The portal began glowing again when Captain America came through it to recruit Bucky, while also rescuing Hawkeye in the process. After explaining that he wasn't the Captain America these two had known, they made their way through the portal to Wakanda.[9] Steve later recounted the story of how he ended up in the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda to Clint, while Wakandan scientists and doctors tended to his friend's wounds. After his storytime, Bucky began writhing in pain, tentacles merging with his new arm. The pair ran to warn T'Challa and Shuri by taking a spacecraft. Bucky grabbed onto the craft, causing Steve to jump down and fight his old friend to buy Hawkeye time. After Shuri explained that Bucky's arm needed a manual reset, Steve distracted his partner long enough for Hawkeye to shoot a bead programmed to reset the arm, sucessfully restoring his friend back to normal. Steve then vowed he'd stick by his friend's side.[10] Paraphernalia Equipment Captain America's Uniform Weapons Captain America's Shield Notes Steve Rogers is voiced by Brian Bloom in Marvel Rivals. What's more huggable than a puppy, but hungrier than a great white? It's Jeff! This baby landshark may be one of the most unusual and adorable creatures to ever waddle his way out of the ocean. But anyone who's crossed Jeff's path can tell you that behind his sweet little bark is one nasty bite! After getting captured and displayed as a curiosity at the Collector's Theme Park, Jeff broke free when the Timestream Entanglement scrambled reality. Now's his chance to prove he's a hero, one chomp at a time! Deadpool's Road Trip At the start of the Timestream Entanglement, Jeff was at a beach with Gwenpool when Deadpool swept him up and took him. Already familiar with a version of Wade from his own timeline, Jeff would win Wilson's heart over, joining him on various adventures to collect several artifacts. Unforutnately Jeff would get seriously injured by Broodlings, leaving Wilson with no choice but to take him to the Collector. The Collector erased Jeff's memory of the adventures he had with Deadpool across the timestream.[2] Escaping the Collector's Museum Jeff would later escape the Collector's Museum with Mantis and Sai, consuming a vial of Pym Particles during their escape.[3][4][5] Once in space, they came across an Acanti in distress caused by the Brood. After Sai dealt with the Brood, Jeff cleaned the Acanti's teeth as a sign of gratitude. He and Sai were planning on joining Mantis on her mission to the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda before the Guardians of the Galaxy sent out a distress signal on Klyntar. Ready to join her, Sai heard a voice utter the words "To me. My X-Men." Sensing the need to head to this mysterious place, she and Jeff would head to Krakoa.[6] Night at the Museum Deadpool, Rogue and Gambit's escape soon turned into a rescue mission. Using the Bats Mobile, they began rounding up creatures, however it was transformed by the Contemplator's spirit into a giant pool float. But thanks to his quick thinking, he shrunk the refugees down and loaded them onto the float, as he had swallowed a vial of pym particles during his original escape. Deadpool then filled the newly transformed Bats Mobile with a mysterious gas from the censer, launching the group into the depths of space, where they were then located and rescued by Emma Frost's New Marauders.[7][8] After making it back to the Present Timeline's New York City, Wade, with the financial assistance of Elsa Bloodstone, opened Monster Island.
