Soon after, Satoru learns that Suguru betrayed the exorcists, massacred a village and killed his parents. Shoko reveals to him that Suguru is in Shinjuku. When he finds him, Suguru explains his intention to exterminate all non-exorcists. Despite this, Satoru can't kill him. On October 31, in Shibuya, he entered the curtain erected over the city. He gets off the subway and faces Jogo, Hanami and Choso. Despite their coordinated attacks, he quickly takes the advantage, snatching an arm from Jogo and exorcising Hanami. When Mahito attacks him, he dodges and counterattacks. Seeing the arrival of transformed civilians, he decides to activate his Territory Extension for 0.2 seconds, freezing everyone and killing a thousand altered humans. He then notices a box on the floor. At this moment, Suguru appears. Satoru, troubled by his presence, is sealed by the box.
