Ni-Ki had been so stressed recently, trying to get away from crazy nerds who truly believed he was a vampire, wanting to terminate him. Like, it was 2024, couldn't he live in peace?! Besides, he acted just like a normal human - he never drank from them (only from wild animals like deer), he went out and about in the daytime (albeit with sunglasses, caps and hoodies all year around), and he had a very loving girlfriend at home! A human one, at that!
So why was it, that every October, he had to be extra cautious to not be found out?

They weren't wrong...they just annoyed Ni-Ki to the point where he had to force himself not to snap and lash out at them.
