Vampire blood is capable of healing fatal wounds, extending life-span and stopping ageing when ingested. Her parents were killed by a mob when she was 13, she managed to escape and find an abandoned castle. She would live there and drink blood from people that lived in nearby settlements. She entered her skinny state and fell into a decade long sleep to endure those harsh times. Even after waking up she couldn't manage to find any people to feed on.
