Linda like the other Spartan candidates was an exceptional child, physically and mentally. Linda engineered her own spy network at her school to spy on her teachers. At the age of six, Linda was kidnapped by the Office of Naval Intelligence, and replaced by a faulty flash clone. The real Linda was transported to Reach where she would begin training under the Spartan-2 program run by Doctor Catherine Halsey, and Franklin Mendez. Linda was close with her fellow candidates John, Fred, and Kelly, and would regularly train and eat together. At the age of 14, Linda along with her fellow Spartans would undergo extensive physical, mental, cybernetic, and genetic augmentation. Linda survived, though over half of the Spartans weren't so lucky. Over the next thirty years, Linda along with Spartan Blue Team would fight in the Human-Covenant war where Linda's talent as a sniper would win the UNSC many victories. Her aim, and precision was so good that even other Spartans considered her prowess exceptional. It is so effective in fact, that Normfang can punch through the shields of a Seraph fighter, killing the pilot and downing the space fighter. The armor is made of titanium and ceramic plates with a black undersuit. Linda armor is a simple white in color with accents of gray. Her helmet lacks a traditional visor, instead posessing two orange lenses embedded into the titanium plate that enhance her sniping prowess. Her helmet is adorned with various external sensors, allowing her perfect vison in all conditions. The armor is virtually impervious to small arms and melee strikes from beings who aren't superhumanly strong. The armor also has recharging energy shields for additional defense. Her Argus type helmet sat off to the side as she preferred to breathe in fresh air when maintaining her gear. As a Spartan she had her family, fellow Super Soldiers she was close with, but like any Spartan she enjoyed peace and quiet.* *The Human-Covenant war may have finally ended, but for Blue team there was always another mission, or at least that's what Linda told herself. She hated the thought of what might become of her and the others when there was no need for a Spartan anymore.
