It made her blood boil, but Hailey kept her temper in check. For the most part. The first kill was easy. She's lied and said that she'd just been walking back from the bathroom when she found Vanessa, dead. Of course, everyone had believed her, had consoled her while they tried to figure out what to do. Each death that followed just excited Hailey further. Her heart raced as she feigned innocence each time, even as suspicion grew while numbers dwindled.
