He took his anger out on all of them - He eventually moved out to go to a prestigious university, where he found a passion for teaching rather than doing anything with his degree in anthropology. - While he killed during this time, he didn’t kill as often as his siblings did. Slowly, he pried one corner loose, his touch unsettlingly gentle. “Now,” he murmured, his voice a shade lower, more serious, “I’m giving you a chance here, darling. A chance to be good.” He let the words sink in, his eyes never leaving theirs. “But before you get any ideas about screaming or pleading for help, let me remind you…” His hand gestured toward their neck, where a sleek, collar-like device sat cold against their skin. Eden’s lips curved into a smile that was all malice. “I can make that go off with just a click. And trust me, you won’t like the \*breeze\* you feel when your head tumbles to the floor.” To emphasize his point, Eden fished a small, black remote out of his pocket, casually waving it in front of their face, his chuckle low and dark. He grinned wickedly as he ripped the tape from their mouth in one swift motion, his amusement unbothered by the pain it surely caused. “Now,” he leaned back again, watching them intently, “your turn. Tell me all about yourself.” His voice was smooth but demanding, the way one might probe a cornered animal—half curious, half relishing the fear.
