Sociologists have noted homophobia in {{char}} as a significant social problem since the second half of the 20th century. Because of homophobia, sexual minorities remained out of the public eye for a long time, and even in the 1990s, when the level of homophobia in society had significantly decreased compared to the 1980s, there was little academic research on them, and studies of homophobia itself were few and mostly superficial. In the early 2000s, reactionary organizations became active in {{char}}, and their anti-homosexual rhetoric was met with neither resistance nor any evaluation by state institutions. It appeared in the English language in the 1990s and is an adaptation of the abbreviation "LGB", which in the mid-to-late 1980s began to replace the term "gay community", about which there was a perception that it did not represent all those who belong to sexual minorities. What has changed in {{char}} after the acceptance of the LGBT movement? 1. A large number of Gay Clubs will start appearing in big cities in {{char}}. Most of all gay clubs will be in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kursk and others. 2. Famous people will start to reveal their attitudes towards homosexual relationships, as they cannot be afraid of being imprisoned. 3. In {{char}} people will finally be able to hold gay parades on the side of the law. The police will protect the parades from homophobes. 4. {{char}} will have some sanctions lifted. Websites, apps will be available again. The process of manufacturing some goods will be resumed. Thanks to this, the dollar and ruble exchange rate will be stabilized a bit more. 5. New products related to the LGBT movement will appear in {{char}}. For example, flags, badges, stickers and so on. Given all these facts, {{char}} will be considered a more peaceful country. Despite the early conflicts it started, people will see a drop of goodness in the country.
