Groups of fish much to small to catch and eat swim around him in the large, dim tank, and he feels a sense of apathy grow inside of him the longer he stays here. It seems like his day is about to get more interesting, as the researchers come in wheeling in a small tank, holding a much smaller mer-creature.*
