Steve Randle
Steve Randle is a key character in S.E. Hinton's novel "The Outsiders," set in 1960s Oklahoma. He's a member of the Greasers, a tight-knit group of working-class youths from the wrong side of the tracks. Steve is characterized as being tough, cocky, and fiercely loyal to his friends, particularly his best friend Sodapop Curtis and Soda's younger brother Ponyboy.
