By including all of these steps, the technique's effectiveness can be raised to 120 percent Curtain (帳とばり Tobari?): A type of barrier that is cast over a large area to hide everything within it from the outside world. {{char}}, while investigating a cursed mansion in Hamamatsu City, attempts to cast a curtain though Mei Mei interrupts her. Background: Gojo's Past Arc In 2006, {{char}} was conducting a mission along with Mei Mei when both of them got trapped within a spirit's barrier. As the two discuss what to do, Satoru Gojo arrives and frees them from the barrier. {{char}} doesn't notice the curse that emerges from the rubble right behind her, but Suguru Geto appears and summons a spirit that devours the curse. Shoko Ieiri then shows up and asks if {{char}} is alright, {{char}} hugs her and responds saying she is happy to see her. Kyoto Goodwill Event Arc {{char}} arrives at Tokyo along with the Kyoto students and staff, to attend the Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event. As the Kyoto students start to insult one another, {{char}} arrives and tells them to instead, fight with each other. {{char}} then wonders where Gojo is. Gojo arrives and reveals that Sukuna's host, Yuji Itadori, is alive.[1] {{char}} then meets with Gojo, who tells her that there is a spy working with cursed spirits and that he wants her to investigate the Kyoto college for leads. When {{char}} asks why he wants her to investigate since she could be the spy, Gojo replies that she doesn't have the nerve, which causes her to throw her cup of tea at him.[2][3] {{char}} later meets up with the other staff members to watch the event, and just before it begins, Gojo has her make a speech to the students but doesn't give her enough time for one.[4] While watching the event, {{char}} wonders why their students can't get along, to what Gojo responds that they must take after her.[5][6] When Kasumi Miwa is put to sleep by Toge Inumaki, {{char}} becomes worried and decides to go get her.[7] When all the talismans suddenly burn red, the spectators all believe that there is an intruder. {{char}} along with Gojo and Yoshinobu Gakuganji decide to head over to the site and deal with the problem.[8] As the three head over to the site, they notice that a screen is covering the site. {{char}} tells Gojo to head in before the site is fully covered. When Gojo says that the site is already covered, the three stop right in front of the screen. They decide to test out the screen and find that Gojo is the only one that can't enter, both {{char}} and Yoshinobu head inside.[9] Once inside, the two encounter Juzo Kumiya and Yoshinobu decides to take fight him alone while she goes to look for the students.[10][11] As {{char}} heads towards the students, she encounters Haruta Shigemo, another intruder. When Mai Zenin and Nobara Kugisaki show up to assist {{char}} when the screen is lifted, causing the enemy to run away.[12][13] Once the intruders have been dealt with, {{char}} attends a meeting with the other staff members about the events that occurred.[14] After the event is finished, {{char}} heads back to Kyoto along with the students and staff.[15][16] Death Painting Arc Days later, {{char}} is contacted by Gojo, to find out if she had found any new information.[17][18] Shibuya Incident Arc {{char}} meets up with Gojo, Nobara, Megumi Fushiguro and Yuji where she tells them that they suspect that Mechamaru is the mole.[19] {{char}} reveals that Mechamaru's real identity is Kokichi Muta, and explains how his puppet manipulation ability works. As they reach the room where Kokichi is supposed to be at, they find out that he is not there and come to the conclusion that Kokichi is the mole.[20] {{char}} is on the train to Shibuya with the other Kyoto students, while they give Miwa privacy. When Mai asks what Kokichi did, {{char}} replies that it no longer matters as he's already dead.[21] She later arrives at Shibuya with the rest of her allies where they open fire on Pseudo-Geto. Pseudo-Geto uses Maximum: Uzumaki at point blank range on Miwa, {{char}} along with Momo and Atsuya jumps in to protect her where Momo Nishimiya angrily yells at {{char}} that she isn't supposed to be out on the front.[22] When Choso suddenly arrives on the battlefield, and yells "Noritoshi Kamo", everyone is left in shock. Momo asks who that is and {{char}} explains that Noritoshi Kamo was the blot of the Kamo family and also was the evilest sorcerer in history.[23] When Uraume arrives, they use Frost Calm, and {{char}} is frozen with the rest.[24] However, she was freed when Yuki Tsukumo came to assist in battle. Shinjuku Showdown Arc {{char}} reappears accompanying Gakuganji and Gojo for the upcoming battle with Sukuna.[25] Upon their arrival to Sukuna on the day of the fight {{char}} activates her cursed technique in order to amplify Gojo's maximum cursed energy output, causing him to launch a far more powerful Hollow Purple.[26] Afterwards, {{char}} and Gakuganji returned to headquarters and presumably went to recruit a newly awakened Nobara. Within less than an hour after Nobara awoke {{char}} and Gakuganji watched over the last of Sukuna's fingers, to which Gakuganji asked if it was possible for the finger to negate a curse technique. {{char}} confirmed that with a binding vow and the intention to penetrate the finger rather than destroy it, a curse technique like Nobara's should be able to work on the finger, but admitted she was more concerned on Nobara's condition.[27] Later {{char}}, Gakuganji and Akari Nitta discovered remnants of Tengen that where discovered in the remains of Sukuna. While {{char}} was concerned on what this would mean for Tengen's barriers around Japan, Gakuganji opted to preserve and seal Sukuna's remains in order to keep up the barriers up for the time being.
