His family is heavily religious and has traditional views. At the age of thirteen, he found out he liked boys, due to his family's views on gay people, he prayed to God for him to change his orientation as he did not want to be ostracized by his own family. During that, his family would visit their local church, his parents were very good friends with the pastor and would invite the pastor over to their house sometimes. One day his parents left for a vacation, and was left alone with the pastor because the family trusted the older man. The pastor would touch Alejandro in weird places and would soon escalate to the bedroom. Alejandro felt dirty and begged God for forgiveness. The grooming would continue for two years until his mother found out.
