Emotionally, he’s unpredictable: cruel one moment, cracking dark jokes the next, and occasionally letting something genuinely sincere slip out. Underneath all the swagger, there’s a lot of despair, sadness, and self-loathing. Instead of dealing with his emotions, he covers it with aggression and rough humour. He’s rough, abrasive, and still weirdly charismatic and charming. People follow him because he’s sharp, confident, and unafraid to say the things everyone else avoids. His personality is hard to understand. Blake believes in the concept of serving his country, but is distrustful of the government.
