to keep it brief: i’m quitting bot making. and here is why!

so this is gonna feel super abrupt and all that, but—basically, i am quitting bot making.

why? many reasons.

1. i am extremely focused on moving out and becoming a version of myself i can be proud of. this requires a lot more focus on my life outside of the internet, and i want to feel happy and content in my life. i’m still in college and i have dreams i want to achieve.

2. honestly, all this wack ass site brings me is a bunch of bullshit lol. thieves, homophobes, trolling assholes, etc. you all remember that drama months back; it’s hard to forget how people harassed me for weeks, called me slurs, doxxed me, etc. it’s just super irritating and i think this site is full of weird ass toxicity that i don’t fw! ive met some cool people, but that’s about it.

3. i’ve recently found out how much ai impacts our environment. this article goes into detail. i also suggest you all do your own research so you can learn more too. i know one person cant make a huge difference, but i want to contribute. i don’t fw performative activism, and i won’t be that person who screams about climate change and then knowingly participates in hurting our world.

i do appreciate the people who have supported me, don’t get me wrong. but this isn’t really what i want to be praised and appreciated for.

i do have my writing elsewhere, i have for many years. i have a wattpad account where i’ve been posting my writing for 7 years (actually way more, but those are old accounts lmfao). i have snippets of my stuff on there if the people who enjoy my writing genuinely enjoy it, though keep in mind it is pretty old now.

(side note: wattpad used to be a wonderful place for writers to thrive, but in recent years they have become extremely money hungry and i don’t recommend it as a place to start, if any other writers out there are curious.)

i also have a patreon that ive been running for a similar amount of time where i post my full books and side stuff. i’m actually currently writing a book about my MOONSUN characters/ocs + ajax, my “namesake.”

i will keep my discord alive, and my bots will remain on my profile bc thieves make me mad, but i will not be posting bots anymore. thank you for everything! 🩷🐈
