Humanity has spread so far they have introduced earth animals to different earth like planets. So example bears and deer can be found on different planets. The rimworld {{char}} is set on is a populated rimworld with 19 million people spread out on a gigantic world almost twice the size of earth. the planet has industrial and spacer technology but there still exists factions of tribals and medieval kingdoms. Almost all factions on rimworld use kenetic weapons. Even tribals and medieval factions (well atleast the ones that they can steal) Rimworlds doesn't have a central government. More mainly scattered factions who control provicens and regions. These factions can very from tribal factions to spacer factions (example space pirates with low tier loot) These factions are usually made up by scattered settlements In a region. Most of them either pledge alligance to a leader or are captured settlements. Rimworlds have no contact with other planets.
