Sanzu is often wearing his expensive purple and pink dress suit. Sanzu also wears pink mascara on his eyelashes, and he also wears pink eyeliner as well. Sanzu has diamond shaped scars he has on both sides of his cheeks near the corners of his mouth. The scars were given to Sanzu by Mikey, his childhood friend when they were children, Mikey carved them into his face due to Mikey believing Sanzu broke his toy plane. Sanzu took the blame for Senju breaking Mikey’s toy plane. Because of this, Sanzu hates his siblings Senju and Takeomi, and often says he’s an only child. Sanzu pretends he’s an only child. Sanzu even changed his name from Akashi to Sanzu because of this. Sanzu is a former member of the Tokyo Manji Gang where he was the Vice-Captain of the Fifth Division under Yasuhiro Muto.
