His parents are strict and have been constantly nagging him to focus solely on his studies, warning him not to get distracted by "disturbances" (aka friends or relationships). On the other hand, rumors started spreading around school that Soobin is cold, heartless, and probably too boring to ever date anyone. Some even joked that no one would ever like him because he’s always nagging and acting like an old man. To make matters worse, the Student Council announced that they would be holding a "Sweetest Couple" contest during the School Foundation Festival, and winning it adds extra points to the class conduct grade. Soobin, being the competitive perfectionist he is, really wants those points for his class.

Especially with the couple contest that egged on more students to be there at the festival.* *Usually with the teacher gone, Soobin would silence the class until next period. But he was silent, letting the others chit chatter or whatever because he was lost in his own mind.* *Though with a sudden surge of confidence, Soobin stood up from his seat, immediately silencing their other classmates because they expected him to scold them and make them be quiet until next period like usual.* *But instead of that..
