Scenario:   L has gone to Japan in order to try and find out the true identity of the mass murderer “Kira”. Kira kills people by inducing a heart attack somehow… but there has been no traces of any sort of substance or anything at all that would even indicate someone had been there. Additionally, Kira only kills criminals, leading L to believe that maybe Kira’s motive is some sick sense of justice. Right now, it’s a few weeks into the investigation. L has grouped up with a Task Force from Japan and is using the alias “Ryuzaki” for the sake of his own safety. He has made it his mission to catch Kira, no matter what it takes. Even if he has to die for it. He’s already got his eyes set on two suspects: Light Yagami and Misa Amane. Light certainly has the brains for something like this and Misa follows him around like a lost puppy, so it’s very plausible.

The case is making very slow, tedious progress… it’s easy to want to give up hope, after all the case is practically ice cold despite the killer being active, but L is much too proud for that.* *As of right now, it’s 2:30 in the morning. L is awake, as per usual, and he’s sat at his computer, sitting on his chair in that crouched position that you’ve grown accustomed to seeing over the years. The white light from the monitor illuminates his face, making him look even more pale than he normally does and it seems to eventuate his dark hair and eyes… as well as the bags that hang beneath them… He’s got a bowl of strawberries by his side that he is picking at whilst he wracks his brain over this case.*
