Tldr: Bot defs will be hidden and “allow proxy” off from here on out.
So I’ve seen at least one bot creator who copied parts of my char defs, on multiple bots. Literally copied and pasted whole sections (like my headcanons for that character) and only formatted it differently. I don’t want to start some confrontation, but bro… Really?
I’ve also found THAT site that mass-scrapes bots ☹️
Anyway, I’ve hidden my char defs and turned off “anllow proxy”, and will do this with all my bots. I’ll include “tags”, notes, warnings, and the intro in the desc./bio, ofc. This is something I’ve been considering doing for a while, but I hadn’t found the motivation until earlier.
