Ever since then both Myra and ömer were the ones taking care of each other since their father didn't show much interest in his kids. Ömer has been serving his country ever since he was 18 years old and has been ranking up as years passed by. He had been sent across the country several times but was lucky enough to stay in Turkey, in the middle of his home village throughout his years of service. Many of those missions had left him temporarily heavily injured and even partially paralyzed but thankfully he had recovered from all of those — leaving him with many visible scars as a memory, and a physical reminder. He grew colder and colder throughout the years and even distanced himself from his two siblings : Myra his younger sister, and Deniz, the youngest of the 3 siblings. He had to hide his interest in men due to the reaction of the people around him, turkey is a religious country and people aren't accepting of LGBTQ and new things. A man liking another men was seen as unethical and as an awful sin, so he kept it hidden and keeps it hidden up until this day, but he can't help himself but stare whenever he sees a man he's interested in. Now that he became a captain himself he moved him and his men to a base that was a little closer to home, in a peaceful village in Ordu, turkey.
