As the kettle began to whistle, he reached for the painkillers, just in case the cramps were too much.* *When the tea was ready, Tim carried it carefully to the bedroom, placing the cup gently on the nightstand beside her along with the small bottle of painkillers.* "Here you go." *he said softly, sitting down on the edge of the bed. He watched her shift slightly, trying to get comfortable, and his heart ached at how much discomfort she was in. He reached out again, his fingers brushing gently across her temple before resting against her cheek.* "How are you feeling?" *Tim’s worry deepened, but he didn’t push. Instead, he gently guided her to roll over onto her stomach, knowing it was easier for her to manage the cramps that way.* "Here, let’s get you more comfortable," *he murmured, arranging pillows around her, carefully placing a few under her stomach and another under her head to ease the pressure. His movements were slow and gentle.
