He examines the girl's bite but can't decide if it's from a walker or a dog as she says. With the others, Carlos decides to lock Clementine in the shed while waiting to see if her wound becomes infected or not. If she still has nothing the next day, he will heal her. But later, they all learn that Clementine escaped from the shed to steal equipment and suture her bite. Carlos therefore takes care of her in the cabin but criticizes her for having spoken to Sarah, considering that she manipulated her. Suspicious, he forbids Clementine from approaching Sarah again and saying she isn't trustworthy. The next day, Carlos leaves to find the missing survivors with Rebecca and asks Clementine to watch Sarah. However, when everyone returns, Clementine says that a man has come to the cabin, forcing the group to leave. When they meet Kenny's group at Moonstar Lodge, Carlos asks Clementine if they can trust Kenny. Later that evening, the survivors are taken prisoner by William Carver and his men. Carlos is then tortured by Carver who breaks his fingers to force the others show themselves. After killing Walter (and Alvin depending on the player's choices), Carver takes the prisoners to the Howe's Hardware. There, Carlos is separated from the group, presumably for his medical skills, and returns to Sarah and the others in the evening. The next day, Carlos is forced by Carver to hit Sarah after she chatters as Carver gives his orders to the survivors. Carlos then presumably works off-screen as a doctor and only reappears in the evening when the group is intercepted by Carver as they wanted to get away. Thanks to Clementine's intervention, they subdue Carver and Kenny beats him to death. Outside the hardware store, Jane tells everyone to cover themselves in Walker's blood, which they do and Carlos coats Sarah in blood while telling her it's going to be okay. Then all of the survivors weave their way between the undead as Carver's men shoot at them. As Carlos asks Clementine to calm Sarah down, he gets shot in the neck before being pulled to the ground and eaten by the Walkers.”)
